2025 NCWDA Online Awards Program
NCWDA is offering the opportunity to win year-end prizes in our 2025 High Point Online Horse Show Awards Program. Please read below to see rules and eligibility requirements. You may sign up and pay via PayPal using the form below.
Eligibility
The rider must be a WDAA and a NCWDA member to be eligible.
Tests submitted from shows must be WDAA rated and approved:
All awards will be based on a Horse/Rider combination meeting eligibility requirements.
Horse/Rider Combinations must submit 5 tests from at least 2 different WDAA approved shows per level.
Horse/Rider teams may enter two consecutive level divisions per horse/rider team.
One test must be test 3 or test 4 in the level in which the horse/rider is competing.
The Horse/Rider team must declare themselves as Open, Amateur, or Youth (under 18). They may not cross enter between divisions.
Freestyle scores may not be submitted.
The average score will be used to calculate High Point.
A horse and rider team may only win High Point Champion a maximum of two times at any single level.
Riders are responsible for submitting tests to NCWDA within 30 days of the show.
Rider subsequently submits copy of test sheet(s) containing the name and date of the show, the judge’s signature and percentage score (*NOTE: Test sheet must be received legible & have the horse/riders name; Scan, email or snail mail, no cell phone photos please; If received w/o required information or not legible, test may be discarded)
Riders must submit the test scores to ncwesterndressage@gmail.com
Scores may be verified with show management before qualifying for final high point awards.
Riders must submit test scores within 30 days of the show to ncwesterndressage@gmail.com
EXCEPTION FOR 2025: Members may submit test scores from 1 December 2024-April 30th 2025 with no penalty
Overall High Score will be awarded in Open, Amateur, and Youth. All levels and tests within each division will be eligible.
In case of a tie, the horse/rider with the highest single score is the winner; if the highest scores are the same, the next highest scores will be considered until the tie is broken.
Current points will be updated every 30 days on the NCWDA website.
Awards will be presented at the Annual North Carolina Western Dressage Association Meeting.
High Point year will be from December 1 through November 30th.
